Lives & works in New York, NY
I have long been intrigued by the glint on the water, the shimmering, everchanging dance. The glint represents the constant march of time, of a specific moment that comes only once. My work has dealt with a loss of time, a place, a person or being. I work at the site, at the moment, in an attempt to capture, interpret and document. Central Park, Union Square, Italy, the South of France are some of my favorite plein air locations. I work from life to capture the essence, both psychological and visual in my portraits and figurative works. Early inspirations are the great Asian painters such as Hiroshige and Hokusai.
